What is copywriting?
Copywriting generally refers to the process of writing advertising and promotional materials. This can include brochures, billboards, websites, emails, advertisements, catalogs, product descriptions and much more.
Who are you?
I'm not located near you, can you still help?
Most certainly. I work remotely with clients all over the world.
We can even have virtual meetings using video calls and screen sharing.
What is SEO copywriting?
SEO copywriting stands for Search Engine Optimised copywriting.
It’s a specialised copywriting process for optimising your copy for a given keyword while still being engaging and interesting for the reader.
What about confidentiality around your project?
I am a very ethical person so your secrets are safe with me.
However, if you require the extra assurance of a non-disclose agreement, I’m happy to sign one as well.
What about meeting face-to-face?
Generally I work remotely, as it’s faster and more cost effective for your projects. We can also organise video calls using Zoom for briefings and to go through the copy at each stage of the project.
However, if you would like to include in-person meetings, I am happy to travel. Just keep in mind this will incur extra costs.
What does your price include?
I’ll provide you with a detailed estimate that outlines exactly what my cost includes.
I’ll break it down so you can see the cost of each individual item.
Basically, my end price includes everything I need to write your copy, plus meeting and chat time, research, writing time, amends and proofing.
How much will my copy cost?
Because each project has it’s own unique set of challenges and requirements, I quote on a per-project basis.

Do I need to pay anything upfront?
For a typical project, I ask for a 50% commencement fee. If you have a large or multistage project, I’m happy to arrange a payment plan to correspond with project milestones. On Jobs less than $350, I will ask for payment upfront.
Can you collaborate with my designer?
Yes, I can. In fact, I’ve been successfully working remotely with other professionals on collaborative projects for over eight years.
How long will it take to write my copy?
This depends on how much you need written and how booked up I am. Once we agree on a cost for the job, I’ll provide clear deadlines for each stage.
Please get in touch and I’ll provide an indicative timeframe once we’ve discussed your job.
How many changes to the copy will I be able to make?
In total, you’ll receive 3 revisions of the copy. This gives you up to two opportunities to provide feedback for changes. Sometimes I’ll also send through small sections of copy or outlines (at no extra cost) for your approval to make sure we’re both on the same page. This saves time and makes less work for the revision stages.
If my project evolves, what happens to the price?
Yes, it can sometimes happen that as the creative juices are flowing, great ideas can happen. So if you would like some additional change outside the project scope, let me know as soon as possible and I’ll be happy to requote the price and advise of a revised timeline.
What information will you need from me?
The more information you can give me about your products, target, pain points and solutions, the better copy I can write for you.

Which industries do you work with?
I can work with brand and business from most industries, however, I specialise in copy for the travel, automotive. technical sectors.
Can you write a website that will get me on page one of Google?
It’s certainly possible I can help, but there’s more to reaching the first page of Google than just great copy. So while I don’t guarantee results, I’ll write great SEO optimised copy to give you a big helping hand at ranking highly for a choosen keyword.
Will you write a free sample for me?
No, I don’t write free samples. But please have a look around my website. It’s a great example of what I can do. If you are after a certain style or tone of voice, please get in touch as I might be able to send you an example from some previous work.
What if I already have a rough draft and I just need help polishing my work?
I most certainly can. Simply send through what you’ve written and I’ll work out a price for you.
Do you do keyword research?
No, I don’t. But I do outsource this to an absolute pro if required.
Alternatively, you can also reach out to your own SEO consultant and supply with me with a list of keywords.
Is copywriting anything to do with copyright?
No, copyright refers to legal ownership of a document and is not related to copywriting.
Will I own the copyright to the work you do for me?
As soon as I receive final payment, I’ll transfer the copyrights over to you. You’re then free to change, publish, or do whatever you wish with the copy.

When do I pay the final invoice?
For a typical project, I’ll send the final invoice along with the first draft. You will then have 14 days to pay the invoice. This is also the deadline for the final, proofread version of the copy to be finished.
If there are additional changes outside the scope during this time, you’ll receive another invoice after the additional work is complete.
Any work outside the original scope will be requoted and agreed upon with you before I start. There will be no nasty surprises at the end.
